Mucci-Pac specializes in tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers, and all three are available in a number of breeds, according to the firm. For instance, its tomatoes are offered in the following varieties:

Quality Assurance
There are four main reasons why Mucci-Pac has been able to thrive in the industry for more than 30 years while still maintaining customer satisfaction. They are also the company’s core values, it says.

The first ingredient is quality. Every day, Mucci-Pac strives “to ensure that the best quality of the market arrives to our customers,” the company says.

Strict Safety Standards
The second is safety. Mucci-Pac implements strict food safety standards into its operation to ensure every cucumber, tomato and pepper is safe for consumption. “The management of Mucci-Pac is committed to the goal of Mucci-Pac’s food safety program,” the company says.

“This program is a proactive [tool] for the growing and packing operation, whereby potential product hazards are anticipated and controlled from product reception through distribution.

“Utilizing several tools and sources of information, Mucci-Pac remains in line with the newest technologies and information to accomplish this goal.”

Innovation Investment
Thirdly, a commitment to innovation keeps Mucci-Pac abreast on emerging industry trends.
“Mucci-Pac invests great time and effort to lead the industry in produce and packing technologies,” the company says.

“With our in-house R&D department, Mucci-Pac has researched the latest technologies resulting in industry-leading, state-of-the-art ideas and processes,” it continues.

Knowing the Customer
Finally, Mucci-Pac follows the age-old adage of “getting to know your customer,” the company says.
“Getting to know your customer is a well-maintained company philosophy.

“With such efforts in customer relations, Mucci-Pac has the willingness and an innovative process to grow and package products to what their customers need in their market area.”

Mission Accomplished
The company’s four core values of quality, safety, innovation and customer awareness fuse together to support its entire mission, Mucci-Pac explains. “Our mission is to be the company which people choose to purchase their everyday produce needs from,” the company says. The first step to this success, it stresses, is to “create a healthy and controlled process” so that it can be later expanded.

“As part of our reformed logistics and warehousing program involving the development of an efficient network for distribution throughout North America involving warehouses and cross-dock operations, Mucci-Pac has acquired a new 42,000-square-foot facility in Taylor, Mich.,” the company says. “This new facility will greatly improve the service we provide our customers.”
