IFT19: Feed Your Future brought together the most talented and creative minds in the science of food to feed their careers, businesses and futures. IFT’s Annual Event and Food Expo was held from June 2-5 in New Orleans where attendees collaborated, shared, learned and networked. “It’s where you can be inspired and inspire, where you can gain insights and gather intel, and where you can hear the latest research and see the most innovative products,” IFT says.

More than 17,000 attendees from more than 90 countries experienced the newest products, latest trends and cutting-edge innovations at IFT19. “[Where] the industry’s largest collection of food ingredient, food safety and quality, technology, equipment, processing and packaging suppliers, are all assembled under one roof to learn and see what’s next in the science of food,” IFT says. “It’s the only place where you can meet face-to-face with over 1,000 exhibiting companies on the forefront of the latest global food trends, and see firsthand the products designed to address them.”

During IFT19, a number of pavilions were created for attendees to easily target specific areas of interest. Those pavilions included:

IFT 2* IFTNEXT Start-Up Alley where attendees meet one-on-one with a select group of leading, cutting-edge entrepreneurs developing some of the most innovative products and solutions.

* Organics Pavilion showcased the latest products and trends in organics and non-gmo project verified products by suppliers from around the world.

* New Exhibitor Pavilion was designed to make it easy for attendees to locate the newest products and technologies.

* Food Safety Pavilion helped attendees discover what’s next in food safety and quality assurance technologies, processes, services and packaging.

* Traceability Central showcased the latest advancements, technologies and platforms being developed to address traceability challenges.

* Consumer Trend and Insights Pavilions featured up-to-date consumer information, daily presentations and Mintel’s Intelligence Zone, which allowed attendees to interact with some of the world’s most successful and innovative products.
