The Olive Tree Italian Family Restaurant was a concept inspired by the owner’s childhood home on the family olive grove and vineyards. Growing up with the freshest local ingredients and making their own olive oil and wine, Nick Hapsis  knew he wanted to share that kind of unique dining experience. He and his wife, Kaliopi, started on their venture of making his dream a reality.

No other burger chain can trace its existence back to one of Vail, Colo.’s top dining and event destinations. However, Larkburger isn’t like most burger chains. Created as a spinoff of its namesake burger made at Vail’s Larkspur Restaurant, Larkburger originated in 2005 and has grown by combining the best of fine dining and fast food.

An avowed fan of outdoor extreme sports such as mountain biking, windsurfing and downhill skiing, Parent worked a few years on Wall Street after graduating from college before he got the urge to start his own business. Parent says he found many of the most successful and satisfied clients he worked with in the financial sector were entrepreneurs.

The Epicurean Group’s newest restaurant concept offers diners the finest food and service without the pretentiousness or stuffiness that is often associated with the term “fine dining.”

It’s close to impossible to dislike crepes. The thin-in-stature yet rich-in-flavor pancake can wrap itself around a mixture of flavors – savory and sweet, breakfast, lunch or dinner – making it easily customizable to anyone’s tastes and, as one restaurateur has found, a smart concept for the fast-casual food market.
